MRS. WOMACK DIES AT 82 Sweetwater - Mrs. Canary Womack, 82, of 400 Canfil St. here, died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday at Morris Nursing Home of Roscoe. Funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Nolan Baptist Church with Rev. James L. Kinsey, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Slater Chapel Cemetery with Patterson Funeral Home in charge. Born in Erath County on June 13, 1880, she came to Nolan County as a small girl and later married W. S. Womack in Decatur. The couple lived in Oklahoma and Wood County, Tex. before moving back to Nolan County in 1928 and to Sweetwater in 1945. Mr. Womack died here on Dec. 17, 1947. Surviving are five sons, Walter of Roscoe, Edward of Dallas, Ernest of Slaton, Jess of Merkel, and Henry of Stanton; three daughters, Mrs. Ida Hamilton of Snyder, Okla., Mrs. Ada Reppond of Houston and Mrs. Paul Barton of Lubbock; 35 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
