MRS. ALMA JONES FUNERAL SERVICES SUNDAY AT NOLAN Mrs. Alma Salome Jones, resident of Nolan County since 1919, died in Young Hospital at Roscoe Friday at 7 p.m. Mrs. Jones was born in Saltillo, Miss. on June 17, 1869 and came to Texas with her parents in 1882. She was married on Dec. 7, 1885 in Burnet County to Andrew R. Jones, prominent farmer in this county, who died in November, 1937. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are three sons, J. L. Jones of Anson, Grady Jones of Nolan, R. B. Jones of Maryneal; three daughters, Mrs. Herman Russell of Plainview, Mrs. C. W. Barton of Roscoe and Mrs. Kay Corley of Brownwood; a sister, Mrs. M. H. Perry of San Saba; 27 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Nolan Baptist Church in charge of the Rev. B. L. Higdon, assisted by the Rev. E. G. Harper, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial will be in Slater Chapel Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home of Roscoe is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Theron Gore, Adrian Barton, Malcolm Jones, Victor L. Jones, Lowell Corley, Buren Hammond.
