Willie Mae Pustejovsky, 88, of Abbott, passed away late Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Town Hall Estates in Hillsboro. A rosary will be recited at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with visitation to follow until 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2016, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, with Rev. Ouseph Thekkumthala as celebrant. Burial will follow in Fatima Cemetery. Willie Mae was born near West, Texas, to the late John R. and Rosie (Trlica) Matus. She attended Abbott and West schools. She was united in marriage to Henry Pustejovsky on September 10, 1946, in West. She operated the family farm with Henry, worked at Nickerson Farms and Plantation Foods for several years before retiring in 1991. Willie Mae was a charter member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott. She was also a member of the KJZT Society in Abbott and the SPJST Lodge #54 in West. Willie Mae enjoyed gardening, canning, working Seek-A-Word puzzles, playing scratch offs, and listening to Czech Music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, on December 14, 2013; sisters, Barbara Ann Matus and Rosalie Parma; and brothers, Rudolph Matus and Albin Matus Sr. Survivors include her daughters, Rose Ann Kaska and husband, Ron, of Abbott, and Monica Middlebrook and wife, Tamara Holcomb, of Waco; sons, Pat Pustejovsky and wife, Linda, of Houston, and Billy Pustejovsky and wife, Kathy, of Abbott; grandchildren: Ryan Kaska and wife, Aprille, Denise Cervantez and husband, Michael, Michelle Young and husband, Mike, Ronda Kaska Ballew, Leann Filer and husband, Larry Jr., Heather Brown and husband, Chris, Craig Pustejovsky and wife, Rebecca, Scott Pustejovsky and wife, Becky, Roger Kaska and wife, Julie, Maegan Abney and husband, Neil, and Dustin Middlebrook; great-grandchildren: Kyndall and Michael Kaska, Erika and Fisher Cervantez, Tyler, Clayton, and Bradley Young, Ashley and Morgan Ballew, Trey Filer, Cailee and Natalie Brown, Hunter and Hayden Pustejovsky, Chris, Morgan and Taylor Hunter, Raiden Pustejovsky, Karli Kempson, Taylor Smith and Logan Abney; 14 Godchildren; brother, Johnny Matus; sister, JoAnn Cepak; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
