Doris Marie Kienitz McKay passed away Oct. 14, in San Antonio. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Tootsie was born in Leroy, Texas, to the late Joseph Frederick and Gertrude Emily Snider. Tootsie, as she was fondly known, grew up in the Tours, Leroy area and was a 1949 Waco High School graduate. She was a homemaker and then a bookkeeper for the Herrington House at Baylor University, retiring in 2001. She was a Master level Tournament Bridge player, enjoyed sewing, dominoes and gardening. She also loved to dance, go on cruises, go to Bossier City and Las Vegas Preceding her in death was her first husband, Louis Kienitz; second husband, Patrick V. McKay; and brother, Lionel Snider. Survivors include daughter, Kelli Schlueter and husband, Scott; son, Louis "Butch" Kienitz, Jr.; grandchildren, Travis Schlueter, Kevin Schlueter, Colin Kienitz and Dalton Kienitz; and brothers, William "Buck" Snider and Robert "Bobby" Snider.
