Bio

Stephen Wright, 60 years old, died at his home in Shopville Christmas day after a 'ten days' illness with pneumonia. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah E. Wright, five sons and two daughters, E.S. Wright, J.W. Wright, Henry N. Wright, P.F. Wright, Charles C. Wright, Mrs. Della Farmer, and Miss Effie Wright. His mother, Mrs. Sarah Wright, also survives him. The funeral service was held at the Pleasant Run church Sunday and was conducted by Rev. W.R. Smith. Burial was in the Pleasant Run cemetery. Mr. Wright was a farmer and stock raiser of considerable prominence and had many friends. He will be greatly missed in the community where he lived.
