Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah E. Goodwin Wright, 86, wife of the late Stephen Wright, , who died Monday morning at the home of her son, Charles Wright, at Shopville, after an illness of six months, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pleasant Run Church with the Rev. Bert Whitaker officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Wright was a native of this county, a daughter of the late Pleas and Lucinda Boyd Goodwin, and spent her entire life here. She lived a Christian life and leaves many friends. she was a loyal member of the Providence Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Charles Wright of Shopville, John Wright of Azof, Henry Wright of Ano, E.S. Wright of Williamsburg, Ohio, and Frank Wright of Port Orchard, Wash.; and two daughters, Mrs. Effie Shiplett of Granger, Texas and Mrs. Della Farmer of Milan, Ind.
