Bio

Daughter of Elizabeth Sears and Pleasant W Goodin; wife of John W Mills. --------------- Angeline Goodin, was born in Pulaski county, Ky., May 1, 1848 and was married to John W. Mills on April 6, 1868. Her husband passed on before her on September 23, 1916. Also one son died in infancy and one in the year of 1915. She leaves eight children: Mrs. R. M. Harwood [Nancy Ellen] of Picher; Steve Mills of Poplarville, Ky., Mrs. J. M. Stephens [Eva] of Okmulgee; J. R. and Willie Mills of Crowder; and Leslie Mills of Grove and Maudie Mills address unknown, and Mrs. J. W. Blevins [Maynote] of McAlester. Also a large number of grand and great grand children. Deceased joined the Christian church nearly 60 years ago, then forty years later she joined the Missionary Baptist church. She has lived a faithful and Christian life for something like sixty-years and was always a faithful wife and mother with a cheerful word to one and all. -----The Grove Sun, Grove, OK, Thursday, April 9, 1931
