Bio

James L. Cumby, 77, of Berlin, died at 8:33 a.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Capitol Care. James was born December 7, 1938 in Berlin, the son of Everett and Pearl Weger Cumby. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clarence and Everett "Zeb" Cumby. He is survived by three sisters, Patricia (William) Large, Betty Mae Tomlin and Ethel (LeRoy) Bachman and several nieces, nephews and cousins. James was a graduate of Berlin Grade School and attended New Berlin High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked for Wettenberg Lumber and the New Berlin Lumber Yard. He enjoyed working in the yard and flower gardening.
