Obit. Stella E. Ballard Services for Stella E. Ballard, 72, will be at 2 pm Monday in Bettes Chapel with the Rev. David Sharp, Pentacostal Holiness Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ballard, 1202 Bailey SE., was born April 21, 1904, in Madill. She died Friday in a local hospital. She married Lee Ballard at Province on June 19, 1922. She had been a resident of this community nine years, coming here from Kress, Tex. She was a cook and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband Lee of the home, one daughter Clara Jane Gehardt, Dodd City Tex.; four son Orvil also of Dodd City, Willie J. and Melton Ray, both of Plainview, Tex., and Thomas P. of Poteau; one brother Thomas Luttrell, Ardmore; four sisters, Dovie Richards, Wanda Studeman and Ottie Wills all of Ardmore, Anna May Gregory, Monahans, Tex; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Beares will be Elton Vaughn, Jimmy Jo Pollard, Gerald Pollard, Kenneth Faught, J.W. Faught and Mike Hampton.
