Thomas Ballard Dodd City- Family visitation for Thomas Samuel Ballard, 67 of Dodd City, will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 1996 at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham. Cremation will follow, Mr. Ballard passed away Friday, December 27, 1996 at Northeast Medical Center. He was born March 29, 1929, in Mary Nebblack (Carter Co.), OK. The son of Samuel Lee Ballard and Willie Estelle Luttrell Ballard. He was a retired maintenance supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Orvil Ballard of Dodd City. Survivors include; sons; Thomas "Glen" Ballard of Leonard, Scott Dewayne Ballard of Ft. Worth; daughter: Charlotte Faye Ballard Clayton of Dallas; brothers; Willie Ballard and Melton Ballard of Plainview; sister: Claire Jane Gehardt of Dodd City; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
