Extracted from obituary in the Wayne County Press, September 1, 1938 and death record in ancestry.com: Sarah, daughter of Isham and Gilla Simmons, was born February 7, 1856 in Salem, Marion County, Illinois. She married Nephi Caudle in August 1874. He died August 31, 1891. They had five children. One died in infancy and a daughter, Stella, died August 14, 1895. She then married Charles Kreidler March 21, 1896. He also died. She died August 13, 1938. She leaves two sons, Oscar and Arcus of St. Louis, one daughter, Effa Brown of Zenith, three brothers, W.B. and C.A. of Cisne, J.S. of Hardin Montana and one sister, Della Munkrest of Wyoming.
