Bio

HARDIN Funeral services for James S. Simmons, 76, Hardin carpenter, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Bullis Mortuary Funeral Chapel in Hardin. The Rev. David Sutton, pastor of the Church of the Open Bible in Hardin, will officiate. The Rev. E. E. Fitch, retired Hardin pastor, will assist. Mr. Simmons died Friday morning in Big Horn County Hospital. He was hospitalized since Feb. 6. He was born Feb. 6, 1882, in Cisne, 111., and married Mabel Barnes Nov. 24, 1918. In 1929 he arrived in Big Horn county where he lived until his death. Surviving are his wife and three children, James R. Simmons of Seattle, William G. Simmons of Idaho and Janice Simmons of Hardin. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Hardin..
