Wilma Elizabeth Holt, 88, passed away in Plano, Texas on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2016, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Funeral Liturgy Outside Mass will take place at 10 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2016, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis, Texas. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Wilma was born in Ellis County, Texas, to the late Iqnac and Frances (Dlabaj) Slovak. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School in 1944. Wilma worked for Ennis Business Forms for 38 years until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters. Wilma enjoyed crossword puzzles, her Czech heritage, Polka music, and Wheel of Fortune. Her heart was a heart of giving and volunteering especially at the Helping Hands of Ennis. Her family was the light of her life and she was happiest being with them. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Holt; five brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include her sons, Ronald D. Holt and wife, Brenda, and Michael R. Holt; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Reeves; other relatives and many friends. J21
