Bio

Franklin H. Eppy, 72, 911 W. Glen, died at his home yesterday. Mr. Eppy had been employed in machine maintenance at Caterpillar Tractor Co. 25½ years. He was born in Peoria on May 30, 1904, a son of George W. and Elizabeth (Hoerner) Eppy, and married Beatrice Graham, June 14, 1931, in Peoria. After she died, he married Mrs. Lyndal Whitaker Fry, March 5, 1972. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Margaret) Ulrich of Peoria; one stepdaughter, Mrs. William (Doris) Weyeneth of Peoria; and two brothers, Walter A. of Peoria and William E. of Williford, Ark. Mr. Eppy was preceded in death by two brothers, Philip I. and George O., and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wyss and Mrs. Florence Planck. Services will be Tuesday at Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home with burial in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Full obit in the Peoria Journal Star - Sun., Dec. 12, 1976, a.m. edition, page E9 .
