Bio

George W. Eppy, 85, of 1104 Purtscher Dr., a life resident of Peoria, died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital. A son of George A. and Mary (Walter) Eppy, he was born in Peoria April 21, 1870, and married Elizabeth Hoerner in Peoria Oct. 1893. She died April 22, 1953. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Wyss and Mrs. Vernon Planck; and four sons, Phillip, Walter, Franklin and William Eppy, all of Peoria. A son, George, died last February. Full obit in the Peoria Journal Star - Wed., Dec 1, 1954. Obituary located by Mel Slane .
