Frances M. Beseda, 95, of Penelope, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, at West Rest Haven in West. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with visitation until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the Church of the Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary in Penelope, with Rev. Ouseph Thekkumthala as celebrant, assisted by Deacon Denver Crawley. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery near Penelope. Frances was born in Penelope, Texas, to the late Vince and Frances (Pavlas) Kocian. She attended the old Cottonwood School. On October 14, 1940, she was united in marriage to Andrew J. Beseda in Penelope. Frances was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm and ranch for most of her life. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Nativity B.V.M in Penelope. Frances enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. She especially loved spending time with family and hosting family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her husband, on February 6, 2000; brother, Charlie Kocian; and sisters: Christine Vanek, Regina Holacka and Delma Hutyra. Survivors include her son:, Lonnie Beseda and wife, Cynthia, of East Bernard, Gary Beseda, of Penelope, and Bobby Beseda and wife, Frances, of Kosse; daughter, Barbara Kostecka and husband, Michael, of West; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Beseda; grandchildren: Lori Polak and husband, Dwayne, Melanie Attaway, Robin Haxhijaj and husband, Besnick, Kelly Macha and husband, Derek, Matthew Beseda and wife, Melissa, Leslie Nors and husband, Stephen, Lt. Col. Steven Beseda and wife, Maggie, Paul Beseda and wife, Amy, DeAnna Phillips and husband, Jonathan, Rachel Nobles and husband, Ricky, and Shannon Kostecka and fiancée, Wesley Steck; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Taylor, Madison, Justin, Garret, Cole, J.J., Zoey, Ilirian, Konstandin, Elira, Abbey, Andrew, Lucas, Alexander, Avery, and Jakob; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
