Fulton Fraser, 85, a resident of West 6th Street, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1995, at Maury Regional Hospital. Service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will e in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Knob Creek Community native was the son of the late Forgey and Leto May Coggin Fraser, An Active member of First United Methodist Church, he served as an usher for many years and on numerous committees. he was retired farmer and later retired as a car dealer and antique dealer. He was a well known Tennessee walking horse judge. He has been an exhibitor in most of the Breeders' Open Foal Shows, being winner of the Championship Yearling Stallion and the Grand Champion Yearling classes of the 1954 Celebration. He was former President of Maury County Walking Horse Association and a member of the Elks Club. Survivors include his wife, Marie Mayberry Fraser of Columbia; one brother, R.C. Fraser of Knob Creek Community; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donald Lunn, Shelby Carpenter, David Wise, Dr. Bob Wilhite, Joe Foster, Louis Walters, Cecil Johns, Dr. David Williams, Bob Cathey and Bam Webster.
