Bio

Dick Fraser, 75, a longtime resident of Columbia, died Wednesday morning at Hillview Haven Nursing Home following an extended illness. A native of Maury County, he was a son of the late Forgey and Leto May Coggin Fraser. In 1927, he married the former Azalea Ammons who died March 19, 1952. He later married Mrs. Cleo Walker Fraser who survives. He was a well-known car salesman in Columbia, and an active longtime member of the Maury County Horseman's Association. Mr. Fraser was a active member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors in additon to his wife include two daughters, Mrs. Bam (Maxine) Webster and Mrs. E.B. (Mary Carolyn) Delk Jr., both of Columbia; one stepson, Gordon Earwood of Columbia; four brother, H.C. Fraser of Birmingham, Ala., R.C. Fraser, W.C. Fraser, and Fulton Fraser, all of Columbia; three grandaughters, Lea Earwood, Marilyn Webster, and Sherrie Delk, all of Columbia; four grandsons, Johnny Earwood of Charleston, S.C., Mark Delk, Ricky Webster and Mike Webster, all of Columbia; and one great grandson, Christopher Earwood of Charleston, S.C.-(Columbia Herald)
