Mrs. Azalee Turner, Sweetwater, Dies Sweetwater - Mrs. Azalee Turner, 54, died Saturday at 7:15 a.m. in Big Spring Hospital where she had been a patient a week. Funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Fundamental Baptist Church. The Rev. Raymond W. Dunn, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Patterson Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 20, 1906 in Grayson County. She married Sam L. Turner Aug. 1, 1926 in Rotan. She had lived in Sweetwater the past 17 years. Surviving are a son, Aubrey L. Turner of Sweetwater; her mother, Mrs. Isabella Hale of Sweetwater; five brothers, Burl Hale of Anson, Travis Hale of McCaulley, Vernon Hale of O'Dell, Austin Hale of Benjamin and Loyd Hale of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. Veda West of Merkel; and one grandson. Pallbearers will be Henry Goff, Lewis Williams, Ray Hartgraves, Cliff Henson, Virgil Redden and Jerry Crowley.
