Sam Turner, S'Water, Dies Sweetwater, Sept. 27 - Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fundamental Baptist Church here for Sam L. Turner, 57, who died Thursday at 6:30 a.m. at his residence. The Rev. A. L. Patterson will officiate. Interment will be at the Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Patterson Funeral Home. Mr. Turner was born Aug. 29, 1899, in Van Zandt County. He had lived in Sweetwater since 1943. He married Aug. 1, 1926 to Azalee Hale in Rotan. Survivors include his wife; one son, Aubrey Lee Turner of Sweetwater; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Brown of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Irene Weatherford of Riddle, Ore. Pallbearers will be John Olson, L. O. Cardwell, Henry Goff, Ray Hartgraves, Ralph Shaffer and J. B. Durham.
