Funeral Services For Mrs. Lewis Tuesday at 4 P.M. Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Wilmurth Lewis, 79, widow of the late J. M. Lewis, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Lamar Street Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. C. F. Powell, officiating. Mrs. Lewis died Monday morning in Seagoville. Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers, and interment will be in the Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Lewis was born in Elkins, Ark. on Jan. 1, 1870. She was married to Mr. Lewis on Aug. 8, 1886 and they moved to Nolan County in 1922. Mr. Lewis died in 1946. At the time of her death, Mrs. Lewis had been visiting in Seagoville for two weeks. She died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Opal Blackmon. Mrs. Lewis had made her home here with her son, N. P. Lewis, 611 W. Ninth. Survivors include six sons, N. P. Lewis of Sweetwater; Clint, Clyde and Roy Lewis of Roby; George and Clifton Lewis of Orange; two daughters, Mrs. Blackmon and Mrs. A. B. Hastings, both of Seagoville; 41 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
