ROY LEWIS RITES AT SWEETWATER Sweetwater - Funeral for Roy W. Lewis, 54, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the West Side Baptist Church. The Rev. Carl Smith, minister, and the Rev. Travis LaDuke will officiate. Burial will be in the Sweetwater Cemetery with Cate-Spencer Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Lewis died Monday morning following a heart attack suffered while working at the U. S. Gypsum plant here. He had worked for the company since 1928. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roy W., Jr. and Jerry, both of Sweetwater; two daughters, Mrs. Evans Todd of Biloxie, Miss. and Dorothy Lewis of Sweetwater; four brothers, C. W. of Sweetwater, George of Beaumont, Clifton of Irving, and N. P. of Weatherford; a sister, Mrs. Opal Blackman of Seagoville; and one grandchild. Another daughter, Mrs. Betty Love, died in 1953.
