M. C. Lewis Sweetwater - Moses Clinton Lewis, 69, of 800 Circle Drive, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in Edgecliff Manor Nursing Home. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Sipe, pastor, and the Rev. Neal Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Patterson Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 10, 1899 in Plano and married Annie Thomas in 1917 in Seagoville. They moved to Roscoe in 1919 where he was a farmer. He retired in 1958 and they moved to Sweetwater that year. Survivors include his wife; four sons, W. T. of Amarillo, Howard of Fresno, Calif., Richard in the U.S. Navy and stationed in San Diego and J. C. of Sweetwater; five daughters, Mrs. C. C. Watson of Dallas, Mrs. O. C. Green of Las Cruces, N.M, Mrs. Franklin Kiker of Roby, Mrs. B. J. Wilkinson and Mrs. Fred Prewitt, both of Sweetwater; three brothers; one sister; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
