Mrs. Davis, 67, Dies in Sweetwater SWEETWATER - Mrs. Dixie Mae Davis. 67, died at 4:34 pm. Tuesday in her home at 1410 Josephine. Born July 17, 1898. in McGregor, Tex., she married Lonnie Davis there in 1919. He died in 1958. Mr. Davis was superintendent for Sweetwater Cotton Oil Mill at the time of his death. They had lived in Sweetwater since 1943. Funeral arrangements at 4 p.m. Thursday, will be held in the Patterson Chapel of Memories with the Rev. James Robinson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial in Sweetwater Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James Greer of Childress and Mrs. A. M. Councilman of Odessa; and four sisters, Mrs. W. F. Schaefer of McGregor, Mrs. H. R. Smith of Waco, Mrs. M. G. Kent of Tyler, and Miss Fern Eitel of Navasota.
