Texas Death Index #930: Married, White, Male, Trainman Killed in Rail Road accidnet. G. Gage Eitel was killed in a railroad accident near Navasota, Saturday. His body was brought to McGregor to the home of his mother, Mrs. B.F. Eitel. Mr. Eitel, age 24, was born in McGregor but was making his home in Mart for the past several months. He was employed as a brakeman on the Missouri Pacific when he was killed in a derailment. He was married only 4 months when he died, to Marguerite Hutsell.
