Bio

Howard attended school at Prairie Hill, Texas. He retired from Certain-Teed Corporation after 35 years of service. He was an avid sports enthusiast and fisherman. Howard will be remembered for his jovial personality and kind heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha. Survivors include his daughters: Pat Muhl and husband, Jamie, of Hallsburg, Sharon Burns and husband, Frank, of Sugarland, and Marsha Shofner and husband, Sandy, of Hewitt; grandchildren: Jamie Muhl, Jr., Patrick Muhl, Kristy Olave and Caleb Shofner; brother, Paul Stafford and wife, Mary, of Waco; sister, Mary Ellen Akin and husband, Dick, of Texas City; and several nieces and nephews.
