Mrs. Martha Kucera Stafford, 63, died June 6, 1987 in Hewitt TX. Services at Rosemound Cemetery by Wilkirson Hatch FH. Mrs. Stafford was born in Yukon OK on Aug 10, 1923, moving to Aquilla TX as a child. In 1940 she was a member of the Aqulla High School’s district basketball championship team. Her Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Sulak reared her, and she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic church. She was employed at University High School as a cafeteria cashier. Survivors: husband, Howard W. Stafford of 2704 Flint Ave. Waco TX; daughters, Pat Muhl and Marsha Shofner both of Hewitt TX and Sharon Barnett of Valley Mills TX; and five grandchildren.
