Lloyd was cremated, his ashes were scattered at the pond behind the house. He does have a marker here at the cemetery.
Bio
Lloyd Kent Frederick Lloyd Kent Frederick, 65, Gorin, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 4, 1999 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. The son of E. D. and Elsie Smith Frederick, he was born the ninth child of the family of twelve, south of Bible Grove, Missouri on March 26, 1934. He grew up in the Bible Grove Community and attended school in Bible Grove, Missouri. Kent was united in marriage to Ramona McMullen on December 23, 1952, in Memphis, Missouri by Rev. Longestreth. Kent worked in Illinois from 1953 to 1959 as a farmhand. From 1959 to 1976 he ran a dairy in the Bible Grove Area. He was employed by McGraw Edison in 1976 and 1977 at which time he started to work for the Norris Asphalt Paving Co. where he was employed until his death. He was baptized in 1966 and was a member of the Bible Grove Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife Ramona of the home, a son, a daughter, two nephews, three grandsons, three granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons, four brothers and four sisters. Kent was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Cassandra; one grandson, Nathaniel; two brothers, Henry and Victor and one sister, Janie. He was a good and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Kent enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. At his request his body was cremated and the family will hold private family services at a later date. No services will be held at this time.
