he Rock County Leader Bassett, Nebraska February 21, 1996 Marilynn R. (Jenny) Crisp of Garden Ridge, TX died Jan. 31, 1996. Interment was at Holy Cross cemetery in San Antonio, TX. She is survived by her husband, Col. Harold N. Crisp, Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher K. Bowler and Karen Bowler of Sacramento, CA, Harold N. Crisp III and Agnes Crisp of Universal City, TX, Major Kent R. Crisp of Fort Greeley, AK; Dee D. Crisp and Rebecca Crisp of the Woodlands, TX; sister, Regina Brockley of Valentine; brothers Dennis Roggasch of Rose, Donald Roggasch of Rose, Kenneth Roggasch of Muskegon Heights, MI; grandchildren, Chelsea Bowler, Leah Bowler, Scott Crisp and William Crisp. Marilynn was born March 14, 1930 at Ainsworth, NE and grew up on a ranch owned by her parents, Arthur and Mary Roggasch, three miles west of what is now Rose, NE. She attended Saint Mary's Academy in O'Neill for her high school education. She married Harold N. Crisp, Jr., a career military officer, in 1954. After her husband's retirement, they settled near San Antonio, TX. In 1986, she and her husband purchased some property at Rose, NE and began spending their summers at Rose.
