Bio
Daughter of John & Kathryn (Penner) Janzen. Married to Richard Witkowski on 10-9-1965 at Lincoln, NE. Grew up on a farm near Stockham and graduated from Stockham High School. She was a telephone operator in Aurora for several years before moving to Lincoln. She worked at National Bank of Commerce for eight years and then was the executive secretary at the State Farm Regional Office for eight years. Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Beatrice with Father Casey Porada officiating. Burial was at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. A memorial was established to the family's choice with the Fox Funeral Home in charge. A scriptural-rosary service was held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church. The body lied in state at the Fox Funeral Home until from 10:00 A.M. Monday until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday evening. Survivors include her husband Richard Witkowski of Beatrice.
