Las Vegas Sun Tuesday, May 20, 2003 Velva Waters, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 5, 1928, in Minersville, Utah. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Richard Waters and Kelly Waters; two daughters, Lola Jean Bair and Ann Marie Briggs; one brother, Ken Myers, and one sister, Rachel Stewart, both of Milford, Utah; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
