Milford, Utah - Kenneth Bradshaw Myers passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014 at Milford Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on April 2, 1916 to Ralph and Ethel Myers in Parowan, Utah. He grew up in Minersville, Utah and was a veteran of WWII. He married Sara Frazier on December 27, 1940. They started their lives together farming in the Milford Valley, where they had their children Boyd, Judy, Blake, Larry, and Sally. He later purchased a Dairy farm in Nehalem, Oregon where he and Sara worked side by side to make it one of the best dairies in Oregon. Ken and Sara returned to Utah in 1974. They settled back in Milford where they became active members in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Sara spent their time cutting wood, picking pine-nuts, steak-frying, playing cards and going for a burger with their good friends. One of his biggest dreams was to strike it rich in gold. He never stopped dreaming that one day he would find it. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by everyone who has known him. Ken is survived by his wife, Sara, his children Boyd (deceased) (Jenny), Judy Gressman, Larry (Janay), Blake (Diane), and Sally (Richard) Smith. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grand children, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers George, Eugene, Oswald, Ernest, Vendon, and Orrin; five sisters LaRue, Velva, Claudia, Verda May, and Rachel; and his son Boyd. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milford LDS Chapel in Milford, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to services, Interment will be in the Milford City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary
