Bio
Gladys Aline Rankin, age 99 of Cowan, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Golden Living Mountain View. A native of Franklin County, she was born on March 5, 1916 to the late Ira J. and Lenis Keller Stephens in Winchester. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil L. Rankin, Sr; eight brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Cecil L. (Tracey) Rankin, Jr. of Crystal River, FL and Ivan (Brenda) Rankin of Belvidere; daughter, Lynda Faye Copenhaver of Maricopa, AZ; sister, Shirley (Bobby) Sanders of Hightop, AL; brother, Arlen (Anell) Stephens of Skyline, AL; grandchildren, Rob Wielgat, John Wielgat, Tim Rankin, and Josh Rankin; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Wednesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
