Bro. Dathard Stephens was the pastor of the Lake Wales Free Holiness Church, near Orlando, Florida. Obit: Rev. Dathard Dale Stephens, age 85 of Skyline, passed away on Saturday July 12, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Skyline Free Holiness Church with the Rev. Floyd Williams and the Rev. Vernon Stephens, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery. Rev. Stephens is survived by his wife of 63 years – Inez Stephens of Skyline; daughter – Ginger (Tom) Barron of Skyline; granddaughter – Ashley Perdomo of Skyline; brother – Irlen (Anell) Stephens of Skyline; sisters – Gladys Rankin of Cowan, Tennessee and Shirley (Bobby) Sanders of Hytop; sisters in law – Doris Stephens, Frances Stephens, Marverene Stubblefield, Doris Morris, Christine (Earl) Guffey and Margaret Wells; brother in law – Obie Clark; many nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers – Sharon Corbitt of Highlands Home Health; Romaine Rouse, Mavis Rouse, Mary Ellen Brewer, Tammy Sharp and Midge Walls. He was preceded in death by his parents – Ira & Lenis Stephens; brothers & sisters – Ongel, Alton, Horace, Vernon, Burndeen, Meredith, C.T., Varnell, Orvill, Shelby Clark. Rev. Stephens was a lifetime member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
