The Times Munster IN Tue 18 Aug 1959 “Mrs. Allie Piper Mrs. Allie Piper, 73, former Hammond resident, died today at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, Ill. She resided at 1304 Jefferson St., Lawrenceville. She had lived in Hammond for 35 years, and was a member of the Christian Church in the city, before moving to Lawrenceville three months ago. In Hammond she resided at 6622 Van Buren Ave. Funeral services will beheld at 2 p.m., Thursday in Emmons Funeral Home, 1303 12th St., Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Lawrenceville Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday. Surviving are a foster son, Marlin Stevenson, Hammond; two brothers, Henry Stevenson, Hammond and Fred Stevenson, Lawrenceville; two half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Longnecker and Mrs. Jake Greer of Lawrenceville; a half-brother, Floyd Stevenson of Bridgeport, Ill. and three grandchildren.”
