Kathryn Peters Couch, age 97 of York, Neb., passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 in Lincoln, Neb. She was born January 8, 1918 near Henderson, NE to Jacob C. and Anna (Ott) Peters. Following high school, Kathryn attended college and received her Bachelor of Science Degree. She then worked at a nursing assistant. Kathryn was united in marriage to Robert Calvin Couch on June 1, 1957 at York. She was a member of Arbor Drive Baptist Church in York. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Anne (Jeffrey) Bebee of Omaha, NE and Charlotte "Charlie" (Steve) Baxter of Lincoln; granddaughter Autumn (Brian) Kwiatkowski and their children, Jordan, Allison and Christopher of Lincoln, grandson David (Kelly) Bebee and their children Hudson and Hayes of Gretna, Neb., granddaughter Rachel Bebee of Omaha, grandson Andrew Bebee of Omaha, grandson Joshua (Stephanie) Bebee of Parker, Colo.; one sister Justina Peters Smith of Kansas; and one sister-in-law Jeannette Peters of Oklahoma. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery in York, Neb. No viewing or visitation. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
