Mrs. Mina E. Clopton, 69, a native and lifelong resident of Summerdale, died June 15. Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Ann Benson, Jackson and Sharon Cadwell, Orange Beach; one son, Ralph Clopton, Summerdale; two sisters, Mary Ann Roberts, Summerdale and Sarah Robertsdale, Foley; two brothers, Andrew Merchant, Summerdale and Buddy Merchant, Foley and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 17, from the Summerdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Ross and the Rev. J. D. Renfroe officiating. Interment was in Wynn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Mack Funeral Home of Robertsdale. Published Wednesday, June 18, 1986, The Independent, Robertsdale, Alabama
