Bio

Christopher Ellsworth Hinkle was born September 14th, 1860, at Mt. Zion, Ohio, and departed this life at Barron, Wisconsin, Wednesday, July 4th, at the age of 74 years. He was united in marriage to Luella Debelle Chapman, November 15th, 1892, at Albion, Nebraska and to this union three children were born, Jesse Raymond who was killed in action in the World War; Grace Barthman of Bozeman and Louie of Rockton, Illinois. His wife preceded him in death at Barron, Wisconsin, August 4th, 1923. He is survived by one brother, living in Colorado. The funeral services were held at Barron, Wisconsin, and the remains brought to Albion for burial, July 8th. (Albion Weekly News, Albion Nebraska, Thursday, July 12, 1934)
