Son of C.A. & Rita (Hyde) Dunbar. Married to Inez Owen on 3-30-1940 at Butte, NE. Mr. Dunbar was a member of the Loup County Historical Society, the Central Nebraska Amateur Radio Club, Knobby Ridge and Loup County school boards, Calvary United Methodist Church, Loup County Weed superintendent and Loup County Extension Board. ∼ MILBURN -- L.D. "Luren" Dunbar, 84, died Friday (May 24, 2002) at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell. He was born Nov. 19. 1918, to C.A. and Rita (Hyde) Dunbar at Almeria. His education began at Knobby Ridge and he graduated from Taylor High School in 1935. He taught school in Blaine County and Springview before moving to Loup County
