US ARMY WORLD WAR II Edward J. Hornak, 74, of Elm Mott died Sunday at a local hospital. Services will be at 10am Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Lewis Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery near Chalk Bluff. Mr. Hornak was born Dec. 24, 1910, in McLennan County. He was married to Helen Janek. He was a painter and carpenter. He retired in 1980. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and worked for the VA Medical Center. He was a member of the Disabled American Veteras and American Legion Post 478 in West. Survivors include his wife of Elm Mott; a daughter, Sandra Glatter of Waco; two sisters, Francis Cinek of Wst and Mary Calvery of Waco; and two grandchildren. Waco Tribune Herald obituary
