Funeral services are pending with Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Fri, 13 Apr 1984, page A2, Deaths, Luckett Graveside services for Mrs. Lexa Luckett, 84, of El Paso, are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Forest Park Cemetery. She died Tuesday in El Paso. Rev. Joe Leatherwood will officiate. She was born May 14, 1899 in Arkansas. She married W.I. “Italy” Luckett on Nov. 10, 1915 in Emory. Mrs. Luckett was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Luckett of El Paso; a brother, Otha Strickland of Princeton; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, on June 5, 1979; a son, Hurchel Luckett in World War II and several brothers and sisters. The family will be at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight.
