Bio

PLANO – Jessie Leola Tackett Arnold, 100, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in Plano, Texas. Leola was born March 31, 1915, in Graham, to the late Jessie Powers and Willie Lee (Garvin) Tackett. She lived a full and remarkable life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher and business owner. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Richardson. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include daughters-in-law, Francis Scott, of Arizona, and Cynthia Scott, of Florida; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands Bruce Scott, Frank Simmons and W.P. Arnold; sons, Steve and Dr. Walter Scott; sisters, Tracye Wilkinson and Billie Mobley DeWitt; and brother, Jay Powell Tackett.
