Helen Emma "Lena" Hanzelka, 94 of Louise, passed away on March 13, 2015. She was born on November 15, 1920 in Borden to the late Julius and Elizabeth Rabbe Haas. She was a homemaker and did sewing for many throughout the years. She is survived by her daughters Bernice Polasek of Louise, Doris Grigar and husband James of Lake Jackson, Tracy Hendrix and husband Richard of Lake Jackson, grandchildren Jason Grigar, Jamie Huey, Heather Hendrix, step grandson Dalton Polasek, Jr. and wife Debbie, step great grandchildren Paige Polasek and Meridith Arsuaga. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnnie Hanzelka, son-in-law Dalton Polasek, Sr., 6 sisters and 1 brother. Visitation will be at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at St. Procopius Catholic Church in Louise followed by the Funeral Mass with Rev. Clement Quianoo officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park in El Campo.
