Vincent Klepac March 14, 1988 Vincent "Jim" Klepac, 49, of Hereford, died Monday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Services are planned at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Rix Chapel with Father Cleatus McGorry, pastor of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors of Hereford. Mr. Klepac was born Dec. 23, 1938, in Jarrell, Texas. He had lived in Hereford for nine years moving here from Parris [sic], Texas. He married Janice Davis in 1969 in Corpus Christi and was owner of Jim's Jewelers of Hereford. He had served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife, Janice; a son, Daniel Klepac; three brothers, Norbert Klepac of Georgetown, Texas; John Klepac of Taylor, Texas and Alfonse Klepac of Austin; four sisters, Metty Michalek of Granger, Texas, and Mary Michalek of Austin, Bernice Pokorny of Taylor and Agnes Vanecek of Sinton, Texas. Klepac was discovered by a passerby at about 11 a.m. 3.8 miles north of Hereford on Ave. K. Survivors include his wife Janice; and a son, Don.
