Roswell Daily Record (NM) - Sunday, July 31, 2011 Graveside services for Floyd Lockaby, 76, of Roswell, will be held Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at South Park Cemetery, with Chaplain Garth Hyde officiating. He passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011, at his home. Floyd was born May 26, 1935, in Duncan, Okla., to Charlie Floyd Lockaby and Naoma Bunch Lockaby. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all his family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of many years Sylvia "Jane" Lockaby; and grandson, Tony Richards. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Katrina Bacon and husband Roy L., Debbie Lockaby Williams, and Linda Lockaby Richards and husband Mike; brothers, Loyd Lockaby, Jack Lockaby and Fred Lockaby; sisters, Joyce Blevins and Jerlene Jeffcoats; grandchildren, Robert Bacon and wife Derah, Nicholas Bacon and wife Tiffany, Charli Sosa and husband Joe, and Cassie Sterrett; great-grandchildren Tristan, Ashley, Nicholas Bacon Jr., Alex Sosa and Riley Weger; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
