Abilene Reporter News - May 13, 1998 BAIRD -- Naoma Lockaby, 83, died Monday in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ross Cemetery Annex with the Rev. Ricky Carstensen officiating, directed by Parker Funeral Home. Mrs. Lockaby was born in Alma, Okla., and married Charlie Floyd Lockaby in 1933. She was a homemaker and moved to Texas in 1975 from Roswell, N.M., and Baird in 1980. She was a Baptist. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Blevins of Clyde and Jerlene Jeffcoat of Whitney; four sons, Floyd E. Lockaby of Roswell, N.M., Loyd L. Lockaby of Denton Valley, Jack D. Lockaby of Alvarado and Fred D. Lockaby of Clyde; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
