Graveside services for Sylvia "Jane" Lockaby, 68, of Roswell, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2009, at South Park Cemetery with Vista Care Hospice Chaplain Cecil Kimberlin officiating. Sylvia passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at her home. Jane was born March 5, 1941, to James Perry McCall and Ida Lorene Snyder in Albuquerque. She and Floyd were married June 8, 1957, in Roswell. He survives her at the family home. Jane worked at the Medicine Shoppe for eight years as a pharmacy technician and worked at Sears following the Medicine Shoppe. She was a woman who always did things her way and as Jane would say, "She married an old wore out truck driver." In addition to her husband Floyd, Jane is survived by three daughters, Katrina Bacon and her husband Roy, Debra Williams and her husband Curtis, all of Roswell, and Linda Richards and her husband Mike, of Plato, Mo.; two grandsons, Robert Bacon and his wife Derah, and Nicholas Bacon and his wife Tiffany, all of Roswell; two granddaughters, Charli Sosa and her husband Joe, of Ruidoso, and Cassandra Sterrett, of Dexter; one great-grandson Nicholas Bacon Jr.; two great-granddaughters, Ashley Bacon and Riley Weger; one sister Anna Jean Brown and her husband James, of Roswell; two brothers, James Perry McCall Jr. and his wife Jan, of Brownwood, Texas, and William Franklin McCall, of Ruidoso; and a very special friend and sister-in-law Joyce Blevins, of Granbury, Texas. Jane was preceded in death by her parents James Perry McCall and Ida Lorene Snyder; her stepmother Callie Moore McCall and her grandson, James Anthony Richards. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Bacon, Curtis Williams, Mike Richards, Robert Bacon, Nick Bacon and Joe Sosa. A very special thanks to the staff at Vista Care Hospice for the special care of Jane.
