ROGER DALE METCALF Roger Dale Metcalf, 57, of 2017 Cutshall Town Road, Marshall, N.C. died Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a son of John Robert Metcalf Sr. and Betty Flasher Metcalf and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Security Police. In addition to his parents, he was survived by two brothers, Michael Dean Metcalf Sr. of Alexander, N.C. and John Robert Metcalf Jr. of Marshall, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Clark Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Jenkins officiated. Blue Ridge Funeral Home assisted the family.
