Herald Coaster, August 3, 1969: Funeral services for Charles F. Genzer, 81, a longtime resident of Fairchilds, are scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday in the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in Needville, and at 9:15 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with the Rev. Kenneth Mikulik officiating. Burial will be in the East Garden of Gethsemane in Rosenberg. A parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Triska Chapel. Mr. Genzer died July 31 in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Martha Peterson of Needville and Mrs. Winifred Warny of West Columbia; two sons, I.F. Genzer of South Houston and T.J. Genzer of Needville; two sisters, Mrs. Sophie Dusek of Ammannsville and Mrs. Hattie Kolterman of San Antonio; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
