Bio

Herald Coaster, March 22, 1993: Funeral services for Martha Mary Peterson, 82, of Tarkington Prairie, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. A rosary service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at Davis Funeral Home in Needville. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father James Ramsey will officiate. Peterson was born July 22, 1910 in Ammannsille, Texas. She passed away Saturday in Cleveland, Texas. She was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion. She is survived by three sons, Einar Joseph Peterson and wife, Shirley, of Houston, Charles Chris Peterson and wife, Peggy, of Tarkington Prairie, and Arthur W. Peterson and wife, Diana, of Crockett. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at Davis Funeral Home in Needville.
